Going Home

Two Little Piggies Go To Market

Two Little Piggies Feature ImageI had planned to take some pictures of the big event, our first ever farm-raised feeder pigs, but the two pigs who each weighed over three hundred pounds, were not being very cooperative. They wouldn’t even go out the stall door, let alone walk calmly along our makeshift corral. So, my husband found a wide board that he could use to block the pigs escape back into the stall, and instead of taking pictures, I lured the lumbering beasts into the trailer with a three gallon jug of milk. It was much like Hansel and Gretel leaving a trail of bread crumbs. Continue reading
